Original Japanese theatrical posters for French films, from Alain Resnais and Jean-Luc Godard through Luc Besson's action era to Amélie. Each was printed in Japan for the local release, so the artwork and title lettering differ from the French originals. Belmondo, Delon and Gabin crime pictures sit next to New Wave landmarks, animation and Palme d'Or winners.
